Join in the fun sailing with and photographing all the magnificent vessels of the fleet. Fred LeBlanc, a professional maritime photographer, will be aboard to share tips and strategies for photographing these historic vessels under sail. We then raft up with the other windjammers of the fleet for an evening of music and stories.

Photo Cruise with Maritime Photographer

Fred LeBlanc

Photograph and cruise among the hundreds of wild and unspoiled islands on Penobscot Bay, Maine, considered one of the most beautiful sailing destinations in the world. This sailing adventure will provide a unique photographic opportunity to escape to another era when sailing vessels ruled the sea, as they did a hundred years ago, using canvas to harness the power of the wind and sea. Maritime photographer Fred LeBlanc, whose work has been published on calendars, post cards, posters and as fine art, will be joining us. His photography has appeared in regional and national publications, most recently as a book published by WoodenBoat Books of Brooklin, Maine: "Windjammers Downeast". During the cruise, Fred will share his knowledge and experience of photography and his passion for classic sailing vessels.
