Packing For Your Trip
Boarding/Returning:

Dock is at 11 Front Street, Rockland, Maine

Boarding: 6 PM or after

Bring clothing that can be layered as temperatures fluctuate.

Rain jacket. If you have rain pants and boots, even better.

Two pairs of soft rubber-soled shoes with non-skid soles: boat shoes, sneakers or sandals

Sunscreen and lip balm

Sunglasses

Hat
Luggage:

Canvas or soft-sided totes stow better than conventional luggage

Flying? Most luggage can be stowed under the bunk or in a corner of the cabin

A couple of smaller bags better than one large one

Plans for other travel before or after your trip? We can stow extra luggage ashore for you.

Sheets, blankets & pillows provided

Sink with running hot & cold water

Tap water is drinkable

Reading lights over the berths

AC power outlet, just like at home

12-volt DC power outlet similar to the cigarette lighter type found in cars.

Sleep apnea machines, without the humidifier heater, will work

Meals/Drinks:

On your own for dinner the evening of boarding.

Eat before boarding, or if you prefer, come aboard, stow your gear, then go ashore for dinner.

First meal served is breakfast the day after boarding.

Coffee or tea are always available.

Tap water in your cabin is drinkable

Bring your own soda, wine, beer or alcohol. There’s time to pick it up at the local store the morning we sail.

There’s an ice chest on deck for guests’ use.
