BOOKING YOUR TRIP

How do I book my trip? 1) You can always call Beth in the office to book your trip or if you have any questions regarding a trip aboard Schooner Heritage. (207) 701-5036 2) You can book online from our schedule page. Just click on the trip you want to sail on and fill out the online booking form. Note: Online booking fees apply. Even if you book online, Beth is happy to answer any questions you may have about your trip through phone or email.

Do I need trip insurance? Yes. We strongly recommend you buy trip insurance for your trip. As a small business with a limited sailing season and limited cabins, we are forced to have a strict cancellation policy. Life events sometimes get in the way of travel plans. As business owners who provide such personal experiences for our guests, we feel awful when this happens without proper coverage. Buying trip insurance ensures that your trip is protected and you can look forward to your sailing adventure worry free.

What is provided on my trip? Your Cabin: Your bed is made with fresh linens and two pillows per guest. Cabins are stocked with towels, face cloths, natural face soap bar, cups, and hand soap. You will also be welcomed to your cabin with chocolate and a welcome gift. Meals: With exception of dinner on boarding night, three meals a day plus Hors d'oeuvres, snacks, and dessert are all included with your trip. Also, with meals you can look forward to fresh fruits, freshly baked breads, and salads all with locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Beverages: Included with your meals is orange juice at breakfast, iced tea and lemonade with lunch, and iced water with dinner. Guests are responsible for any other beverages (beer, soda, wine, etc.) they may want during the trip. You will have time after breakfast before we leave the dock to run up to the local market for any beverages or that toothbrush you may have forgotten. Two ice chests on deck are dedicated to keeping your beverages cold. Please visit our What to Bring page under Plan Your Trip on our website for further useful packing suggestions.
